Crafted in collaboration with Rehan, an artisan wood-cutter from North London, each frame begins as a single sheet of Birch ply, precisely laser-cut to fit the embroidery designs. From there, every frame is hand-finished at home—sanded smooth, painted, and varnished to bring out the natural warmth of the wood.
 
Named for the yellow-rattle that flowers in late Spring, this mellow-but-vivid frame goes very well with all square kits (apart from, perhaps, The Stork - unless yellow on yellow is your thing!) It looks equally good in a sunny spot as it does brightening up a dark corner - my parents have one in their downstairs loo. 
 
Made in small batches and designed to celebrate your finished embroidery - hand-made frames for hand-made pieces.
 
Each frame comes with a complete framing kit, including foam board, pins, and velcro, so you can easily secure your piece.
