Crafted in collaboration with Rehan, an artisan wood-cutter from North London, each frame begins as a single sheet of Birch ply, precisely laser-cut to fit the embroidery designs. From there, every frame is hand-finished at home—sanded smooth, painted, and varnished to bring out the natural warmth of the wood.
 
Named for the sea near where my parents live - cold, dark, always tempting to swim in - the colour of this frame goes with every kit and and every backdrop that I've managed to test it on.

Each frame comes with a complete framing kit, including foam board, pins, and velcro, so you can easily secure your piece.
